Lesely has been a therapeutic, Licensed Massage Therapist since graduating from Cortiva Institute in 2005. Before being “touched” by the healing power of massage therapy, which helped her overcome a deep-seated injury, she always knew that she wanted to help others heal.

 

Lesely brings to the “table” over 20 years of clinical and non-clinical experience in the fields of service, hospitality, hospital, corporate, government and childcare. She is driven by an unwavering commitment to providing exceptional customer experience.

 

Lesely brings to her practice a longtime passion for Wellness, Natural Foods and Lifestyle, along with a deep respect for the body’s willingness and ability to return to balance. She pulls from her “bag of tricks” to meet the needs of each client for THAT DAY, creating a highly customized treatment plan complete with education on self-treatment protocols to utilize for recovery, maintenance and mobility between sessions as well as referrals to Chiropractors, Physical Therapists and other Massage Therapists to help with more specific, chronic conditions.

 

She describes her style of massage as deeply relaxing and intuitive, working with the body and not against it, making her a sought-after therapist for clients with Fibromyalgia. Her favorite modalities are usually a combination of Lomi Lomi flow and Myofascial Release. She likes to incorporate Cupping to help unglue the tissues in a gentler way. Lesely’s expertise lies in the realms of Integrated, Restorative Deep Tissue, and holds certifications in Prenatal, Holy Fire Reiki and Swedish massage. She continues to enrich her practice with a current interest in Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Aromatherapy. She is more than happy to incorporate Reflexology and subtle energy techniques.

 

Her client base has ranged from “desk-bound warriors”, weekend warriors, amateur/collegiate/professional athletes, musicians and professional dancers. After working in luxury spas across the country for over a decade, she is eager to get back to her therapeutic roots.

 

Her Mission is to offer therapeutic bodywork and holistic education and empowerment to the community. She has provided massage at corporate events, athletic events and music festivals.

 

Lesely is a certified Prenatal Therapist, YoMassage Instructor, Massage Doula, and Kid’s Breathwork Teacher.

 

Although she has a passion for working with Pre and Post natal clients, she is interested and able to work with all body types, injuries, ages and gender identities. Her goal is to treat each client with compassion, respect, love and hope. Lesely, who likes to consider herself a master of the art of pressure, draws upon her background and training to create a very thorough, individualized experience that is not only therapeutic, but deeply relaxing.

 

When not working as a massage therapist, Lesely enjoys writing, peanut butter sandwiches, and a good day at the beach with her toes in the sand and her sun-screened face to the sun. She enjoys spending time with her daughters, grandchildren and grand fur-babies, but also prioritizes time for herself and tries to stay as connected to nature as much as possible (avid redwood tree hugger). She loves listening to all genres of music (including sound therapy) with a little reality TV and celebrity gossip thrown into the mix.
